It was great to see so many people at the Christmas Bazaar last night. Father Christmas was really busy with all the children. The event raised over £550 for Group funds. A big thanks to all those who spent so long planning and preparing the event.

We are starting a Squirrel Drey for boys and girls aged 4 to 6 from September 2024. If you want your child to attend or more information please get in touch with the Scout Group using our contact email admin@1steastleighscouts.org.uk. One of our volunteers will be in touch.
The fundraising team are holding another Horse Race Night on 8th June from 7.00pm. A great fund night for all the family, drop in for all or any of the races.
A number of Leaders visited the Huish Woods campsite to check out the facilities. The site is in good condition and we had a good look at all of the facilities. We are currently planning the detailed activities for both the Scout and Cub camps. We will issue more information when this is complete. If
We are holding a parents meeting on 7th January at 10.00 am to discuss the details of the Summer Camp in August 2024. There will be bacon rolls and tea/coffee. All questions answered.

Thanks to all those who attended our stormy hog roast event this year. Depsite the stormy and sometimes damp weather we raised over £500 for Group funds. May thanks to all those who helped on stalls, cooking and cleaning.
