We have decided that we won’t arrange our normal Christmas Bazaar this year. Hopefully we can do this next year.

It was great to get back to seeing a room full of people enjoying (it was painfull for some) getting back together to test their general knowledge against some challenging questions. Everybody enjoyed themselves and we raised £297 for group funds.

We have now set a date for our next family quiz night. 28th March doors open at 7.00pm, quizzing starts about 7.30pm. All are welcome, children’s game in the upstairs hall. Sausage and chips and other food available. Teams of 4 to 6 or just come along and we will add you to a team.

Many thanks to all those who attended our Christmas Bazaar on Friday. We raised over £440 for group funds. Thanks to all those companies and individuals who provided draw prizes and to our band of supporters who manned all the stalls. We were very lucky to have a visit from Father Christmas who saw all

The Christmas Bazaar will take place on 29th November. The doors open at 6.30 but help to set up will be needed from 5.00 onwards. All the usual attractions: Father Christmas Christmas Stalls Tombola Barbeque

Mike looked after the children whilst the adults took part in the quiz. Many thanks to our guest quiz master Geoff. It made a change to have a music quiz, even though some found it very difficult. Also out thanks go to our supporters who ran the bar and cooked the sausage and chips. A

Many thanks to all those who attended the annual hog roast on the 27th of July. The weather was great, the pig cooked to perfection and the addition on Andy’s Shack made a great social event and we raised over £1300 to support the Group Scouting activities.
